wizzardI'm looking for a license for a software project that will give:
- Freedom to study how the source code works (so users can verify and trust the code);
- Freedom to build the source and use these binaries for any purpose.
But it should not allow:
- Any modification or redistribution of the source code or binaries.
The problem is distinguishing building from modification - both are typically considered "derivative works".
So, is there any possible solution (similar to CC, GNU or something)?
